Dr. Webber has a fun and outgoing personality and enjoys engaging in conversations with his patients. He is very compassionate and understands what it is like to be in the dental chair as he himself is a patient. He has been credited by many patients as having very light hands, a request made by his mother after having dentists who were very heavy handed. Dr. Webber truly appreciates his new career providing dental care for all who are in need of treatment and those who simply need maintenance in the South Bay area. He enjoys taking continuing education courses to stay on top of the new advances in dentistry and applying those that will be beneficial to you. Jovista Vecani, R.D.H
Jovista was born and raised in Albania, a small country in Eastern Europe. At a very young age she knew that entering the healthcare field, dentistry specifically, would fulfill her passion in helping people. Growing up in Albania she saw that people had little to no access to dental care. Unfortunately, many people did not understand the value of preventative dentistry. At the age of sixteen she moved to the U.S, giving her the opportunity to follow her dream of becoming a dental professional, therefore, enabling her to educate people about the importance of oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, she strives to positively impact people’s oral health and motivate patients in leading an overall healthy lifestyle.
Jovista graduated from Cypress College Dental Hygiene Program in Cypress, California. She has volunteered her time by providing dental hygiene services and education to improve and maintain the oral health of medically compromised and disabled patients. In addition, she has worked with several elementary schools to provide screening lesson plans and oral health education to children. Jovista has affiliations with American Dental Hygienists’ Association, California Dental Hygienists’ Association and Long Beach Dental Hygienists Society. She is fluent in Albanian and Spanish.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking with family and taking a stroll down to the beach with her husband. She finds great peace in the kitchen where she stays true to her Albanian roots by cooking traditional Mediterranean dishes. Lastly, she is always looking forward to summer trips in Albania where she visits with old friends and makes the greatest memories.
