Damon Webber DDS
Dr. Webber grew up in Norwalk, California. He attended California State University Fullerton, where he received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Accounting. During and after receiving his Bachelors degree, he worked in the accounting industry totalling more than 12 years. He then discussed his desire to leave the accounting industry to pursue his true passion with his wife who was at that time, his fiance. With her support and others he began the journey to a more fulfilling career, for him, in the health services industry specifically dentistry. Subsequent to fulfilling the majority of his science pre-requisites at Santa Monica College, he was fortunate to complete the remainder of his upper division science pre-requisites in a Post Baccalaureate program at UCLA under the direction of Dr. Marvin Marcus and Dr. Bruce Sanders. Dr. Webber would go on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry in Westwood, California in 2012.
Dr. Webber has a fun and outgoing personality and enjoys engaging in conversations with his patients. He is very compassionate and understands what it is like to be in the dental chair as he himself is a patient. He has been credited by many patients as having very light hands, a request made by his mother after having dentists who were very heavy handed. Dr. Webber truly appreciates his new career providing dental care for all who are in need of treatment and those who simply need maintenance in the South Bay area. He enjoys taking continuing education courses to stay on top of the new advances in dentistry and applying those that will be beneficial to you. Dr. Webber has affiliations with the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, West Los Angeles Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentists.
When it’s time to relax, Dr. Webber enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children, especially when they’re in Honolulu! He has also studied Chinese Kung-fu for more than 14 years and now teaches Shaolin Tai Chi Chuan in Torrance. In addition he has taught and performed Cuban Salsa, aka Casino with his dance team Casineros Que Son Son to maintain sanity during dental school! To keep up with his two children and marathoning wife, Dr. Webber does intense daily workouts like Insanity, Insanity Asylum or T25. When its time to take the edge off Dr. Webber and family go grab an ice cream at Handels in Redondo Beach, CA.
Carl Mossberg DDS
Dr. Mossberg has been in private practice for 34 years in Torrance. He has provided care to teens, adults and seniors over the years. His passion is providing the best dentistry possible which results in long term dental health. The most rewarding aspect of being a dentist is seeing patients for twenty and thirty years with healthy and happy smiles. He is married with four children and four grandchildren.
Dr. Mossberg graduated from USC School of Dentistry in 1972. He received his BSc in Chemistry from UCLA in 1968. He is assistant Professor at USC School of Dentistry since 1986. He has received the following awards Sigma Xi Sigma (Honorary Physical Science Club), Alpha Tau Epsilon Honorary Dental Fraternity, Special Recognition by the Dean, USC., Awarded Outstanding Clinician and Teacher Certificate, USC School of Dentistry, Awarded Outstanding Contribution to the Div. of Primary Oral Health Care, USC School of Dentistry.
Dr. Mossberg served first as an Enlisted Man (Radar Operator) in the Navy Reserves from 1963-1969. In 1969 he was commissioned into the Navy Dental Corps. He was on active duty from 1972 to 1974. He served in the Navy Reserves for thirty two years. He retired from the Navy Reserve Dental Corp in 1997 as a Commander.
Brenda Farrar is the lady that greets you on the phone or here at the office. She takes care of arranging of all the appointment, financial arrangement and sends the insurance forms to the insurance companies and many more things. She is responsible for making the office run smooth. She went to Texas College of Medical and Dental Assistants. She has been working at the office for over twenty years.
Tina Wyatt is the dental assistant who helps make your experience in the office more comfortable and assists Dr. Mossberg provide comfortable and caring dental experience.
Beverly Millan, Phyllis Lewis and Linda Tran are the Hygeinists in the office. The help you maintain healthy gums. Each time you are here they check to make sure that you have healthy oral tissue and check for cavities as they clean your teeth.
